Abstract

Aim of this work is design regulation of protection at distribution point 22 kV Olomouc – Kubíčkova. This distribution point is in process of reconstruction on the ground of grid modernization as well as on the ground of its flooding in the year 1997. Size of this newly constructed distribution point is proposed as well reduced and will answer strict criteria laying on 21 century distribution point within ČEZ a.s. group. It is necessary to look at each operating condition, when calculating short - circuit rates and protections setup and then fulfill all demands for grid protection based on those calculations. No element may not be overloaded nor be endangered by short - circuit heating current. Protections have to be set selectively and there has to be created backup if it is possible. Installation proposal has to result from present conditions.
