Umění v Alexanderu

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce ,, Umění v Alexanderu “ je zpracování projektové dokumentace pro provádění stavby dle zadání bakalářské práce. Obsahem práce je návrh domů umění pojmenovaný Umění v Alexanderu. Tato budova bude sloužit jak pro širokou veřejnost, tak pro uměleckou školu v Ostravě. Budova je navržena na území bývalého uhelného dolu Alexanderu. Tento důl je dnes neaktivní. Projekt domu umění vychází z předem vypracované urbanistické studie v rámci mé semestrální práce Ateliérová tvorba III a z architektonické studie v rámci semestrální práce Ateliérová tvorba IV, kde jsem se zaměřila na Čestný dvůr. Tento dvůr je srdcem dolu Alexander, kde se nachází zachovaná vtažná a výdušná věž. Nová budova je navržená na místě bývalé kotelny. Cílem návrhu bylo vytvořit repliku bývalé kotelny s dnešním využitím jako dům umění. Z exteriéru se budova oproti bývalé kotelny bude lišit s drobnými odchylkami. V interiéru bude vnesená nová funkce, přičemž půdorysná stopa bude zachována. Koncept budovy je jednoduchý v tom, že bude vložen betonový kvádr do domu umění, vznikne tak objekt v objektu. V tomto kvádru bude sál, kolem něho ochoz, který bude sloužit jako galerie a zároveň kavárna. Nad kvádrem budou umístěny ateliéry. Věže budou využívány jako galerie. Historický vzhled budovy a ostatních věží budou doplňovat pouze skleněné konstrukce, které nijak nepřetvoří duch místa. Tato konstrukce bude použita především na zádveří a závětří. Obě věže a kotelna budou funkcí navazovat na čestný dvůr, kde bude letní scéna. Tyto budovy se opticky scelí zpevněnou plochou z minerálního betonu. Vzniklá venkovní scéna se bude využívat jako posezení od kavárny, letní kino, festivaly aj. Cílem návrhu bylo najít nové využití pro celý Čestný dvůr.

My Bachelor Thesis, „The Art of the Alexander“, is mainly focused on an elaboration of a project documentation for the construction implementation already determined by the Thesis task itself. The content of the work is created by the design of the House of Art named “The Art of the Alexander“. This building will be used for the general public as well as for the Art School in Ostrava. The building is designed in the area of the former coal mine Alexander. This mine is now inactive. The House of Art project is based on the prior urban studies already stated in my semester work Studio Creation III as well as in the architectural studies of my semester work Studio Creation IV, where I focused on the Court of Honour. This Court builds the heart of the mine Alexander, where the upcast and the downcast air towers are still preserved. The new building is designed on the site of the former boiler house. The aim was to create a replica of the former boiler house with a contemporary use as the House of Art. The exterior of the building in comparison to the former boiler house will vary just a little. However, the Interior will have to adopt to new functions and features, whereas the floor projection will stay preserved. The concept of the building is simple: a concrete block will be inserted into the House of Art, creating an object in the object. There will be a hall surrounded by an ambit, which will serve as a gallery and cafe at the same time, in this block. Several studios will be placed over the cuboid. Both of the towers will be used as a gallery, too. The historical appearance of the building as well as of the both towers will be replenished by a glass structure, which does not transform the spirit of the place in any way. Such a design will be used primarily to a vestibule and a lee. Both the towers and the boiler house will be functionally linked to the Court of Honour, where a summer scene will be created. These buildings will be visually united by a hard surface of the mineral concrete. The new existing outdoor scene will be used as a cafe sitting area, a summer cinema, an area for the festivals, etc. The main idea of the overall design was to find a new use for the entire Court of Honour .
