Abstract

This thesis deals with the design of all wheel drive systém in passenger cars. An algorithm for distributing torque to individual wheels is designed and programmed, which replaces the mechanical differential. The practical part of the work includes the mounting of individual components and sensors on the vehicle, which are needed for its control and proper functionality of the algorithm. Last but not least, everything is tested on an experimental vehicle and the test results are shown in graphs.
