Abstract

The financial analysis of a firm is a base element indispensable of the financial controlling business, because provide us basis for the daily decision-making in a firm. The goal of this bachelor composition is aimed at financial analysis of a concretion firm in the oil refinery industry, for a four years period, years 2004 – 2007. This action is compose of two parts, theory and object. In the theory part, dividing into two chapters, are containable generally informations of the financial analysis and methods, that are to be used for analysis, and that are used for analysis concretion company, Slovnaft, a.s., in object part. After the financial analysis accomplishment by means of analysis absolute coefficient, ratio coefficient, Du Pont decomposition return on investment and model index IN 01, perhaps review, that company Slovnaft is shipshape moneywise, clear of debts, able to pay and generate amount.
