Návrh extruderu 3D tiskárny pro drcený plastový odpad

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of an extruder for 3D printing using recycled plastic waste. The aim of the work was to create several construction variants and compare their effectiveness in terms of thermal management, particularly in the areas of the homogenization section, plastic hopper, and radiator. Four structurally different versions of the extruder were designed – three using air cooling and one using water cooling. All designs were subjected to thermal distribution simulations using SolidWorks Flow Simulation. The results were then compared based on achieved temperatures, cooling efficiency, and manufacturing complexity.
