Analýza vývoje průmyslu na území města Ostravy

Abstract

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyze a development of heavy industry in the Ostrava city. The description of spatial and other data acquisition and processing is given. Development of heavy industry is shown on created maps, graphs and in animations. Part of the thesis is focused on two important industrial companies which are ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. and Vítkovice Machinary Group and also on a development of the city population. Results of the work give a full overview of the development of heavy industry in the city of Ostrava and development of the city itself.
