Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is designing the building with starting flats and accompanying civil amenities including the selection of a suitable location in Silesian Ostrava. The bachelor thesis is based on volume study and solves urban, architectural, functional and typological requirements for residential buildings.

This bachelor thesis results in two potions of approaching the selected location, design of two apartment buildings with six and eighteen flats and accompanying civil amenities. This work also includes SWOT analysis of assessed locations, treatment of public area, parking and cost analysis of both options.
