Abstract
The thesis deals with the use of methods of cost-benefit analysis (CBA) in evaluating and selecting projects under the Moravian-Silesian Regional Operational Programme.
The thesis work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the cost-benefit analysis and other input-output methods to support decision-making in the public sector. The second part describes the use of CBA in the evaluation and selection of projects under ROP Moravskoslezsko with a focus on financial and economic analysis and indicators of financial and economic efficiency of the project (Economic Internal Rate on Return, ERR). The third describes an analysis of implementaton of an electronic application of the CBA.
