Abstract
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the competitiveness of the company. The aim was to assess if CrossCafe in Ostrava is competitive and to suggest ways to improve its market position. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and application part. The theoretical part is devoted to defining the basic concepts related to the evaluation of the competitiveness of the company. The application part introduces CrossCafe in Ostrava, which is a franchise company. Furthermore, in this part is carried out the evaluation of competitiveness using various methods (PEST, Porter, SWOT etc.). The conclusion of the application part of the thesis includes results of the above-mentioned analyses, including recommendations to strengthen the position of the café on the market.
