Abstract

The point of the thesis is to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of individual elements, providing protection against counterfeiting and forgery of money. The work includes basic facts about the history and creation of money, security features and the possible detection of counterfeits. Significant part of work is also a comparison of protective equipment in terms of their effect on the three selected currencies. Analysis carried out in the last part of the work gives basic information about the effectiveness of security features and includes a proposal for a solution leading to the minimization of forgery and counterfeiting money.
