Abstract
The goal of this thesis is finding a solution for the problem of know-how retention in an organization.
In the beginning of the thesis is represented the characteristics of the abovementioned issue along with a detailed delimitation of goals and possible theoretical and philosophical approach.
In the theoretical part are delimited definitions of knowledge management and other basic definitions. This part also contains the problematic of knowledge management implementation in organization, related methods, models and barriers, which can complicate or completely disallow the before-mentioned implementation.
In the analysis of solvability this work deals with reasons leading to loss of know-how of an organization, possible approach to a solution and analysis of key employees.
The practical part of the thesis engages with the delimitation of the knowledge management system, its goals and purpose. It also explains possible knowledge management strategies and based on a choice of a suitable strategy, it contains proposals of practical applications related to knowledge management implementation in organization.
