Abstract

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design suspension for formula style vehicle that would meet requirements to enter the competition as of 2020. Thesis mentions the general rules as well as regulations required for suspension. Kinematic model of front and rear suspension is designed based on free template dedicated to this very purpose by the ADAMS software publisher. The template is modified to meet the demands for powertrain, chassis and component base. Using simulations as parallel wheel travel and steering, specific parameters of the suspension are adjusted until they are within acceptable limits. After that, 3D model of suspension is created in Solid Works software.
