Abstract

The bachelor´s thesis is devoted to processing-arranged information on xDSL technology, with emphasis on ADSL technology. In the theoretical part are described and discussed the negative influences that affect the management of these connections. The main part is a laboratory measurement of the influence of distance on single parameters ADSL. Specific routes with transfer speeds were selected from the current Czech mobile operators. Total 5 selected routes set to ADSL2+, were measured with the help of a simulator lead to their maximum possible distance. The measured results are graphically presented and evaluated. The graphical views can be identified, how to behave specific routes in certain distances and how it will feel the end-user. The Annex of the bachelor´s thesis contains processed laboratory protocol including instructions on how to measure it.
