Těžba hnědého uhlí v severozápadních Čechách a její vliv na kvalitu životního prostředí a sociálně-ekonomickou situaci regionu

Abstract

This thesis deals with effect of brown coal mining in Krušné mountains area on quality of enviroment and long-term prognosis of coal mining development and its impact on social-economic situation in region. There is also mention recultivation problem as an instrument of liquidation of negative results of coal mining. As an ilustration was used example from Northwest Bohemia. The first part overwievs brief geographic characterisation of Nortwest area and the biggest brown coal fields. It also mentions evaluation of the meaning of brown coal in fuelling balance-sheet of the Czech republic. The aim of this thesis is assessment of brown coal mining impact on enviroment in Northwest Bohemia, solution of recultivation problem on concrete samples, prognosis of coal mining development and its impact on social-economic situation in region.
