Využití hydrogeologických map velkých měřítek pro geoturistické účely v České republice

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of large-scale hydrogeological maps for geotourism purposes in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to assess the possibilities of their application in interpreting selected relationships between geological, hydrogeological, climatic, and hydrological characteristics of the landscape. The map datasets were first converted into digital form and subsequently analysed using overlay analyses in a GIS environment. The outcome consists of clear maps, graphs, and analyses that illustrate the relationships between the individual examined map layers and their applicability for geotouristic interpretation. The thesis also demonstrates that integrating hydrogeological information into geotourism narratives can contribute to a better understanding of selected landscape processes and represents a suitable basis for creating geotourism outputs.
