Zdolávání požárů vozidel na komunikacích dálničního charakteru

Abstract

Bachelor´s thesis deals with suppression of vehicle fires on motorways. It shows statistics of accidents on communications, describes flammable sources and combustible matters in vehicles. It also deals with each type of fires, the activities of the firemen and the cooperation with other components of the Integrated Rescue Service. Then I focused on the division of the place of incident. I propose suitable fire fighting vehicles and their technical equipment for the suppression of vehicle fires. At the end I formulate the recommendations for suppression of vehicle fires on motorways.
