Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of calculating measurement uncertainties during the calibration of pipettes and the creation of a user application in the App Designer environment of the MATLAB program. In the theoretical part, it introduces individual construction types of pipettes, calibration methods and measurement uncertainties. The core area is devoted to the practical calculation of type A and B uncertainties, including the determination of individual influencing factors. The output is a functional user application for recording measured values during the calibration of piston and stepper pipettes, calculating uncertainties and evaluating the results of accuracy and repeatability. An integral part is the verification of the outputs from the application on the set of pipettes.
