Abstract

The goal of this bachelor is a financial analysis of a company that deals with selling new and used cars of the brand Škoda, Volkswagen, SEAT, AUDI.The analysis is made for the period from 2007 to 2012. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, includes a description of the company AUTO Heller Ltd. The theoretical part provides an analysis of professional literature sources dealing with the nature and purpose, information sources for a financial analysis, its users and methods. The practical part introduces firstly description of the company. Then is performed financial analysis using horizontal and vertical analysis, ratios and prediction models. The conclusion summarizes the results of the financial analysis and presents ecommendations that could improve the financial situation of the company.
