Technická efektivnost voleb do Senátu Parlamentu ČR

Abstract

This thesis focuses on evaluating the technical efficiency of elections to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the years 2020, 2022, and 2024. Using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, it analyzes the efficiency of individual senatorial electoral districts based on input and output variables such as the number of candidates, the number of voters, the number of polling districts, voter turnout, and financial costs of election organization. The thesis identifies efficient and inefficient districts, discusses the impact of regional factors, and proposes measures to improve the efficiency of the electoral process.
