Abstract

The subject of this bachelor's thesis entitled "Art studios in Opava" is the elaboration of partial project documentation according to Decree No. 405/2017 Coll., amending Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., on Construction Documentation. The architectural study from the class Studio Creation IV and the project documentation for building permit from the class Studio creation Va. was used as a basis for making this work. The main idea was to create art studios in the city of Opava accessible for students of art schools and general public as well. It also includes The Art Park, divided into grassy hills and designed as a rest place and exposition, as well as The Entrance to the Greenery in the form of a tree alley, allowing people to create and develop. The work is divided into two parts - the text part contains an accompanying and technical report, and the drawing part, which consists of documentation for the construction according to the assignment of the thesis with specialization in architecture. As part of this specialization, the thesis contains an architectural detail of the staircase and visualization. Six artistic three-storey studios lining a tree alley, rectangular in shape, of the same width but different lengths and four different functions (art, music, sculpture and photography) were designed. The subject of this bachelor thesis is one studio of an artistic nature. It is an archetypal form of a house with a gabled roof. It is a clean and simple form of metal sheet building with glazed facades that form a vista. The building has two entrances at different height levels, one of them is the entrance to the alley and the second one to the artistic part of the island. The construction of the studio has three floors, is made from reinforced concrete and includes a basement and an attic. In the basement is a place for artwork, technical background, sanitary facilities and a kitchen. On the first floor there is a space for creative work and the whole floor is a connecting part of the whole building and all objects as well. In the attic, there are other artistic facilities and also a place to sleep.
