Abstract

The subject of the thesis is definition of convergence, shifts and methods used in the convergence. The technique is a measurement that is used in this area, it ispimarily mechanical, optical and electrooptical devices, their advantages and disadvantages. The thesis deals with the application areas of convergence measurements in geotechnics and their demonstration. The next selection deals with the practical example of measuring single-trackrailway tunnel convergence of the Slovak Republic. Following theprocedure described in detail Kacinski tunnel measurement sand for greater clarity will be presented charts with horizontal and vertical changes in threedimensional displacement measurement points. Finally, the specified measurement methods for assessing convergence during the excavation of the tunnel liningand geodetic work in the implementation of the tunnel excavated the New Austrian Tunneling Method.
