Abstract

The development of the electronicisation of public administration is an important step towards easier, cheaper and more efficient communication with public authorities. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate eGovernment in the Czech Republic and in the Visegrad Group countries in the period 2010-2022 using the acquired knowledge and analysis of the necessary data. From the history and legislative framework to the main tools and services offered by eGovernment. The practical part contains an analysis of eGovernment in the Visegrad Group using selected indicators. Based on the findings, Poland performs best. At the end of the practical part of the bachelor thesis, recommendations for eGovernment development are made.
