Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of water quality in flows in the Bohumín. It characterizes the legislation about water quality and water management, describes selected territory and the local flows. It also deals with waste water arising in the city. For the 2009 season provides more detailed information about their composition and about subjects that discharge them into the recipients. A part of the thesis includes the tables containing the characteristic values of selected indicators monitored in local flows during the period 2008 – 2009 and rated by water quality classes. Values of some selected indicators for individual flows are graphically compared. The Oder river is rated from the perspective of long-term development of selected indicators of water quality in the Oder - Bohumín profile for the period 1980 - 2010. The work ends with the evaluation of earned results and proposed measures to improve the current situation.
