Abstract
This bachelor thesis was written with the aim to introduce risks and negative results of brown coal mining in the Most Region. Mine disasters belong among these effects – a part of the thesis is dedicated to them. Another part of the text deals with the role of Central mine rescue station in Most together with its history and development. At the end of this thesis, a nature (educational) trail is proposed which visits interesting risk locations as those of mine disasters are.
