Analýza a zhodnocení činnosti a hospodaření vybraných vzdělávacích institucí ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the secondary school sector in the Zlín region and to evaluate the activity and management of the selected secondary school compared to similar secondary school based on selected indicators of both schools. The theoretical part is dedicated to the school system and education in the Czech Republic. There is characterized education as a service and public estate, what is the significance of education, what consists the educational system of, the possibilities to establish a school and funding options of regional education. There were analyzed secondary education services in the Zlín Region with focus on educational services supported by the county, how many schools are established, how many pupils are attending them and how much money from the budget of the Zlín region is dedicated for education. The activities and management of two similar schools were compared, especially costs, revenues and profit. In conclusion the economic performance of both schools was evaluated.
