Abstract

The thesis is focused on the possibilities of using the European Union structural funds for sports facilities in Moravian - Silesian Region. The thesis describes the implementation and financing of the project, which is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. The first part contains theoretical insight into the methodology of projects and characterization of the Regional Operational Programme Moravia – Silesia. The practical part consists of situational analysis of the Moravian - Silesian Region with a focus on a development of firesports and which is based on the processing of the last chapter which is dealing with a proposal of the individual project.
