Abstract

The thesis is aimed at the current situation of the supplementary pension insurance market, especially focused on supplementary pension legislation and the status of supplementary pension insurance in relation to the Czech pension system. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the supplementary pension legislation. The second chapter contains an analysis of individual pension funds and undertakes a comparison between them. This leads a determination of the most advantageous pension fund. In the third chapter there is a classification of pension systems in countries of the European Union and an analysis of them and that of the Czech Republic.
