Abstract
Defined problem area of this Diploma thesis is concept of "lean production" and its theoretical aplication to the production site of OKD, PILA-SALMA.
Thesis deals with a design of lean production and expedition of mining timber. The aim of this thesis is practical treatment of the problem and propose solutions to the vulnerabilities and measures in the optimization of material flow to achieve economic efficiency.
