Abstract

The aim of this work is to design of competitive strategy for tooling manufacturer. Its implementation in practice helps to maintain at least the current position in the market, which is very difficult to maintain due to the ever-present competition. The proposal is drawn up for the company, whose representatives said the requirements on which the analysis focused only on internal business environment. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines basic concepts and presents basic types of schools for strategy formation. At the end of the selected school position that resulted from the company and criteria are also presented three generic strategies. In the practical part is a qualitative research through in-depth interviews with company representatives. There is done coding interviews, analysis and synthesis of information. In the last part of proposals and recommendations are based on the synthesis proposed appropriate generic strategy, which is the focal differentiation strategy.
