Abstract

DOROTÍKOVÁ, Iveta. Social media and the Work of the Crisis Staff. Ostrava, 2018. 74 pages. Diploma thesis. VŠB-TU Ostrava. This thesis is focused on social media used in crisis team activities. The purpose of this thesis is a study dealing with the topic mentioned above. The theoretical part provides the issue of crisis management, mainly the stages in crisis management and crisis leadership. The issue of using the social media in crisis communication strategies and crisis team acti-vities is also mentioned in one of the parts of this thesis. The survey in the final part was taken by the citizens of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and nearest villages in the form of a ques-tionnaire. Pursuant to this survey there has been suggested a solution to this issue.
