Autonomní řízení modelu auta

Abstract

Purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create an autonomously controlled model of a car that will participate in the NXP Cup competition. The most important factor and problem is speed of the car because it must pass the race track as fast as possible. The hardware modifications of the car are not very innovative because the NXP Cup has strict conditions for the vehicle's chassis and other parts. The decisive factor of speed is the way how car model will be programmed. It is important to solve the exact communication between the camera and the microcontroller that takes care of the whole car model. Two DC-engines are powered by the drive. To solve the work, a training track is required to test the speed, accuracy and agility of the car. My own personal goal is to successfully represent technical university of Ostrava and achieve excellent results in the NXP Cup which is the world-renowned competition.
