Abstract

This work is focused on the decision-making process of a player in the hockey market. Its aim is to analyze the image of hockey clubs operating in the Czech hockey extra league from the perspective of professional hockey players who operate in this competition. Another goal is to identify the factors that are crucial for players when deciding on a new contract. The necessary data for the research were collected using an electronic questionnaire. Research shows that players prefer clubs that provide them with financial security, quality facilities and high ambitions.
