Abstract
Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part deals with the production and distribution of nickel alloys. It also describes the physical and mechanical properties of Incoloy 800HT alloy, including forming and subsequent use. In the last point of the theoretical part are listed and described tests of mechanical properties.
In the experimental part of this work were performed tests of zero strength, hot tensile tests and metallographic tests. All tests except metallographic tests were performed on a plastometer Gleeble 3800. From the hot tensile tests we subsequently determined the plastic and strength properties of the investigated alloy.
The measured and calculated results of the Incoloy 800HT alloy are compared to the Inconel 600 nickel alloy in the discussion of results. The Inconel 600 alloy is more ductile than the Incoloy 800HT alloy, but the contractual strengths of these two alloys are quite similar.
