Abstract

On a base of the Government Resolution of Czech Republic no. 444/1991 which is concerned to Regional-ecological limits of coal mining, can prematurely be limited operation, or will completely end operation of coal mining in mine Československá armáda, operated by the company Severní energetická, a.s. Those limits are related to extraction in mine Bílina, which belongs to the company Severočeské doly, a.s. Behind lines of these limitations stays on mine Československá armáda unused coal in amount of circa 750 milion tons and even in mine Bílina other amount of coal about circa 104 milion tons. Effort of this dissertation thesis is to prove need of coal because of territorial limits for our national economy at least in the horizon of next 40 years.
