Abstract

This study quantifies the rock-water interactions responsible for groundwater composition in area Údolí Setiny (Kyjovicke series, north-east part of Czech Republic) and deal with weathering process of primary rock (greywacke, shale) on site. Rock is construct from primary minerals albite, K-feldspar, biotite, quartz and secondary minerals chlorite, K-mica and ankerite. Groudwater was classified as Ca – SO4. With help of geochemistry modelling programme PHREEQC was realized inverse modelling. Input of model are composition of primary rock, chemical status of groundwater and rain water; output is represented by scenarious. These scenarious choose various combination precipitation and solution of various minerals. The most reactive minerals are K-mica, Ca-beidellite and Na-montmorillonite. Saturation indexes was calculated by programme PHREEQC. Study contains geological surveying, frame microsections, chemical analyses of groundwater and rain water, modal analyses and analyses with rentgen too.
