Odstraňování polychlorovaných bifenylů (PCB) pomocí mikroorganismů

Abstract

PCBs are persistent toxic substances, which are considered the most serious environmental contaminants. They are highly stable and have the ability to accumulate in the environment and living organisms. The aim of my work is to briefly characterize PCBs and bring the latest findings from the study of microorganisms that are able to eliminate PCBs. The main part of my work is an overview of achievements in the use of biodegradation potential of different species of bacteria, fungi and plants in laboratory experiments in the world and the Czech Republic. Furthermore, there is described the possible biodegradation incerase effect of microorganisms.
