Abstract
The bachelor thesis focuses on the protection of power distribution lines. The
theoretical part of the thesis deals with the distribution system and its maintenance. The
practical part compares three different options for the maintenance of the protection zone
including their economic evaluation. The aim of the thesis is to propose the optimal
maintenance variant that will be technically and economically most suitable for the operation
of the distribution system.
