Zhodnocení využívání dotačních prostředků EU ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is evaluation of the use of the EU subsidies in the Zlín Region since 2007, specifically in city Valašské Meziříčí. The purpose of the theoretical part is characterizing aptly the EU Cohesion policy in programming period of 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. The practical part of this thesis captures the structure of Cohesion policy EU in the Czech Republic and shows its importance to the Zlín region. For the further purpose of my thesis the attention is focused on success of use EU subsidies in city Valašské Meziříčí. According to the analysis it indicates that Valašské Meziříčí belongs to a very successful applicants for EU subsidies – from 31 applications submitted were 87% successfully approved. More than half of the projects have an investment character. The most of subsidies received from ROP Central Moravia in 2012, up to 41 % of the total allocated amount. The focus should have been taken to the support and implementation of projects aimed at education in this city.
