Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and production of the door frame for the prototype of the sports electric car StudentCar Titan. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the structural design and material of the reinforcing frame, its attachment to the A column so that the door is strong enough for the safety of the crew and at the same time lightish. A strength analysis of the car door frame was performed to meet the road traffic requirements. Next, the realization of the prototype frame construction is described, which is currently produced in the model phase on which its parts will be debugged.
