Abstract

The diploma thesis examines the resistance wire as an initiation source when used in a VA 20 l autoclave device. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the theoretical part, I am devoted to the description of initiation sources, which are listed in the standards ČSN EN 1127-1 ed.2 and ČSN EN 15967. This is followed by a description of the resistance wire and explosion characteristics. The practical part describes the measurement of individual wire diameters for both types of copper inserts. At the end, complete measurement results are presented, where they are analyzed and evaluated.
