dc.description.abstract-enThis paper is a continuation of the previous paper [1], dealing with one-dimensional motion of solid particles in the gravitational field. Part II presents the extension of the same problem to the two-dimensional motion. The differential equations, describing the velocities and coordinates of particles in the dimensionless form have been introduced and the methods of analytical or numerical calculation have been discussed. All the equations do not take in account the change of dimension of the particle during the motion under the level of the molten metall. The equations include the turbulent, laminar and intermediate streaming. The results of this paper may serve to the analysis of the motion of non-metallic inclusions in the molten metall.en
