Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis is dedicated to the problem of waste co-combustion for the production of electric power and heat, above all waste biomass. The introduction focuses on characteristics of co-combusted waste for production of electric power and heat. In the next part of the thesis there is the description of technology and treatment of co-combusted waste. Further the thesis deals with co-combustion of waste in the Czech Republic including legislation and with co-combustion of waste in Europe and in the world along with the comparison of options of co-combustion in Czech Republic and the world.
