The Bachelor thesis is focused on the financial management of the legal entity providing the aktivity of primary school. The aim of the thesis is to describe the financial resources and the possibilities of obtaining funds by contributory organizations established by territorial self-governing unit, namely by municipality. Methods of description, analysis, synthesis, and an annual comparison are used to achieve the objective. The theoretical part is devoted to the general characteristics of primary education and principles of financial management of contributory organizations. The practical part is based on analysis of financial management of the specific primary school for the 2008 – 2012 period, funds are assessed in main and supplementary activities. Results in individual years are compared and evaluated. For further development of the school other posssibilities of raising funds are proposed.
