Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to design and set electrical protection in substation Ostrava-Poruba 22 kV. The first part focuses on the theoretical analysis of protections and protection. The second part of the thesis deals with the theoretical calculations of short-circuit and the next section is dedicated to the description of protections which are designed for the substation Ostrava-Poruba 22 kV. The last part pays attention to the calculation of short-circuit ratios for the settings of protection and then the actual design and settings of line protections.
