Analýza chybovosti vybraných statistických metod z oblasti modelování spolehlivosti

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to use simulations performed in Microsoft Excel to determine the probability of type 1 error and the probability of type 2 error for various parameters of two tests, whose possible use is in the field of reliability, improvement and assessment of nonconformities portions. From these findings, recommendations are then made for which parameters and sample sizes it is appropriate to use the tests. The first of these tests is based on two samples from the exponential distribution and assesses the difference between the two parameters δ1 and δ2. The second one is a test with two samples from the alternative distribution to assess whether the parameter p1 is greater than p2.
