Abstract

SCHÖN, A. Technical and organizational preparedness of emergency medical services while responding to outbreaks of highly infectious diseases. Ostrava, 2017. Bachelor thesis. VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. Faculty of Safety Engineering. This bachelor thesis deals with the technical and organizational preparedness of emergency medical services while responding to outbreaks of highly infectious diseases. The first part of thesis contains legislative system related with highly infectious diseases. Following section of a thesis is dedicated to International Health Regulations as implemented in the Czech Republic in 2005. The third part of this work is focusing on the responses to the suspected occurrence of highly infectious diseases. The last part of thesis assessed the current technical and organizational status in connection with the Directive of the Ministry of Health. Bachelor thesis summarizes the current situation and proposing possible innovations in the field.
