Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the flow of gases around the heat flux sensor. It consists of two parts. The theoretical part initially describes the basic knowledge about heat transfer by convection and radiation. The next section describes the heat flux sensors used, their material composition, sensor specifications and the differences between these heat flux sensors. At the end of the theoretical part, there are examples of experiments performed with a similar goal but in a different embodiment. The practical part describes the procedure of performing an experimental measurement, which was to determine the degree of influence of the gas flow in the vicinity of the heat flux sensor on the measured values of thermal radiation. There is an evaluation and comparison of measurement results to conclude.
