Optimalizace průvlakové řady při tažení drátu za studena

Abstract

The thesis is focused on drawing low carbon wire through standard and customized series of dies. The main concern of this study is to compare the resulting values: temperature and wire diameter, the amount of residual lubricant on the wire, the strength and toughness of the wire. The resulting values were obtained by measuring the wire samples collected during the drawing. The theoretical part describes the basic theory of wire drawing and the influence of selected factors on the properties of wire. The practical part deals with the processing of a mutual assessment of the measured values. Overall evaluation, operational recommendations and suggestions are presented in the final part.
