Abstract
The aim of this bachelor work was to create the function generator using the integrated circuit. The integrated circuit XR 2206 from the firm EXAR was chosen for this work. XR 2206 is monolithic integrated circuit, which is able to product sine, triangle and square wave. These waves of functions can be amplitude modulated by an external voltage. Changing the voltage on the input voltage-controlled oscillator the output wave is frequency modulated. The function generators are used in electrical engineering for creating the time bases of control circuit, for the various forms of modulations and many other applications.
