Abstract

This thesis deals with a comprehensive financial analysis of the company BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE a.s. with the aim of assessing its financial health and performance in the years 2017 to 2022. The thesis first presents the theoretical and methodological background of the financial analysis, then describes the specifics of the company under study and analyses its financial and asset structure. The analysis includes a vertical and horizontal examination of the financial statements, analysis of ratios such as debt, liquidity, activity and profitability, including the use of Du Pont's ROE decomposition. The analysis also includes the Altman index to assess the risk of bankruptcy. This thesis provides valuable insights that will support the continued growth and steady development of the company in the dynamic environment of the gaming industry, and presents financial analysis as a key tool for informed decision making.
